Full Throttle Towards YOUR Destiny!

A very special thank you to our Young Entrepreneurs Conference (YEC) meal sponsors McDonalds, Lowes Foods, Golden Corral and 4 A Enterprises; presenters (State Employees Credit Union), and Carolyn Sample; our panel of motivating entrepreneurs from Allcare Properties (Tony Smith), Got Sole (Deena Garland) ’09, M-Powerhouse (Terry Smith), and Nan Jeffers (4 A Enterprises) and a host of hometown heroes that make up TEAM SPEEED.

During the month of May, Tony Smith helped save the potatoes in the Community Garden. Tony has also accompanied Nan on Saturdays to Solomon Institute to meet the requirements to receive a $20,000 grant. New Volunteer Kelly Hamlett came to the community garden last Saturday. He was truly sent by God. He, Nan and three youth pulled weeds by hand and brought a great deal of suffocating produce back to life. Wendy Hall set into motion a presentation at Zion Christian Center to bring the hype for the Young Entrepreneurs Conference and Symposium.   Terry Smith of M-Powerhouse shared the spotlight with SPEEED on Sunday, May 30, to rally support for the program.
